Getting started
Ten minutes from sign-in to a decision someone else can review.
1. Create an organisation
Sign in and create an organisation. It holds your projects, decisions, members and API keys. Every query is scoped to the organisation, so other teams never see your decisions.
2. Add a project
Projects group related decisions, for example backend or platform. Each decision gets a number inside your organisation, such as RFC-042.
3. Write your first decision
Create a decision from a template. Fill in the context, the options you considered and what you chose. Read Writing a decision for the structure that reviews well.
4. Invite readers and reviewers
Readers and commenters are always free. Only people who write decisions count as editors on a paid plan.
5. Connect your tools
- CLI to write decisions as Markdown files in your editor.
- MCP server so coding agents can search and read decisions.
- GitHub sync to import ADRs and watch linked code.
